goodlaptopbattery.com.au-Review: MacBook Air: Fast, impossibly thin and undeniably beautiful

Love you :goodlaptopbattery.com.au

Unpacking any new Apple product is always a joy, and even with its minimalist eco-friendly packaging the new 11-inch MacBook Air is no exception.
It’s the lightest Apple laptop so far. The flyweight computer might more correctly be called a netbook, rather than a laptop, because it has shed a number of components to make the weight.
There’s no CD/DVD drive, and the battery is a non-removable component tucked away inside the Air’s svelte body.

The impossibly thin MacBook Air is another beautifully-made Apple product

The Air is an undeniably beautiful object, as virtually every Apple product released in the Steve Jobs era has been. It’s fast too.
The 1.4GHz Intel processor within the wafer-thin computer makes short work of even the most demanding tests and the use of solid-state flash storage to replace the hard disk means that programs spring to life within seconds of being asked.
Once apps are running, they look lovely. The Air’s 11” 1366 pixel-wide screen is amazingly sharp, proving to be especially flattering on video playback. Watching a movie on the Air’s screen is almost being in a cinema, albeit a very long way from the screen.
Of course these features come at a price. The MacBook Air is two or even three times more expensive than non-Apple netbooks, although perhaps that’s not a fair comparison as there really isn’t a non-Apple product out there with the power or style to rival it.

The real competition comes, ironically enough, from Apple themselves.

Although the Air is an astoundingly powerful machine for its size, the limited size of the screen means it will probably only be used by most buyers for word processing on the move, email, social networking and web browsing.
All tasks that an iPad teamed with a portable keyboard could do with equal elegance, and a markedly lower price tag.
The iPad, too, can conceal a mini 3G SIM card within its body. There are two USB ports on the Air, but one of them is so close to the Magsafe power connector that larger USB devices, such as 3G dongles, won’t fit into the Air’s left-hand USB port if the machine’s running off the mains. By no means a major problem but equally, not ideal.
That’s a limitation dictated by space-saving, as is the use of an internal battery.
Because battery life on the machine is so impressive – often exceeding the advertised 5 hours, carrying a spare battery is not such a necessity.
However, once you have got used to the LED battery charge ‘ladder’ on older Mac laptops, it seems a backward step to have to switch the machine on to check how much battery
is left.
Space savings, too, dictate a more compact keyboard than you might be used to.
It’s still perfectly big enough to type on, but the Air’s unlikely to be your only computer and adjusting for the size difference between the two can lead annoying errors such as to Caps Lock being engaged when you were typing an ‘a’, or vice versa.
Much of the new MacBook Air’s incredible power will probably go untapped by most users. Its elegance can be rivalled by Apple’s own tablet and for the better part of £1,000 potential buyers would have myriad other choices.
I still want one more than words can say.

Top 6 Tips to keep Compaq Laptop Battery life longer forever by Battery tips http://www.batteryfast.co.uk/
The performance of your laptop notebook depends largely on the performance of your battery. And his time of life depends on its users-and that is you. These are the principles that guided the Compaq to reach the top so you can maximize the performance of the HP laptop battery.

Compaq laptop battery

To maximize Compaq laptop battery, as recommended by Compaq, battery blog suggestion:
1. Break in your new battery properly
New Pavilion DV5000 Batteries are still fully charged when sold. They have to be by bike or conditioned the first to get its optimum capacity. Loading and unloading of the battery up to 4 or 5 times is enough to determine it.
2. Preventing the memory effect
The memory effect can totally avoid fully charge and discharge HP Pavilion dv7 Battery twice a month.
3. Cleaning the battery always
Dirt on the HP Pavilion dv4 Battery contacts can decrease the performance of Compaq notebook battery. Cleaning with alcohol and cotton can make it look and work as good as new.
4. Exercise regularly battery
This is recommended for those using the AC adapter for longer period of time. We recommend using the Compaq presario cq40 battery at least once in two weeks apart. Batteries lose their charge when stored for a long time and you have to break in the battery when this happens.
5. The battery properly store
When not in use for a long time, the Compaq Presario CQ60 battery should be stored in a clean, dry and cool to be free from heat and other metals. A loss of the battery stores its load time and needs a break before reuse.
6. Optimization of portable power management features
The power management features of the Compaq Presario CQ70 battery allow the conservation of energy in the Compaq laptop battery. You can set lower speed processor or you can set the brightness of the LCD at its minimum level to ensure low power consumption.

Extending Laptop Battery Life to Save Money, Time and Effort - laptop battery maintain tips by batteryfast.com

Extending Laptop Battery Life to Save Money, Time and Effort

If you’re always on the move, your laptop’s power will have to depend on the battery. To make sure that your laptop battery life will extend for years, you’ll have to take good care of it.

HP 530Laptop Battery
Li-ion, 4400 mAh, 14.8 V
only US $ 65.76
Whenever you use different programs for your laptop, you’ll also be using up a lot of RAM, which ultimately needs a lot more power to work faster, thus producing more heat, and thus having to use up more power to counter that heat. Don’t get caught up in the never-ending cycle.
The best way in extending your laptop battery life is to make sure that your laptop doesn’t overheat. Don’t put use your laptop on a cushion or pillow as this will stop the airflow that keeps your laptop cool. Instead, use a wooden or glass table, which cools part of the air completely. For extra insurance, you can put a book underneath your laptop to make sure that the fan will work and that the air can effectively cool down the area.

Dell Vostro 1500 Laptop Battery
Li-ion, 6600 mAh, 11.1V
only US $ 74.26
Putting your laptop into hibernate mode may be a slower boot than simply putting it on standby, but this will also save your battery. Putting your computer on hibernate mode saves your desktop on the last time you use it, but it also shuts down your computer so your battery won’t take up much power.
Extending your laptop battery life requires that you take good care of your batteries so it won’t get worn off quickly. Make sure that you drain your batteries once a month, and use it at least once a week until it drains.

Dell NC6000 Laptop Battery
Li-ion, 4400 mAh, 10.8 V
only US $ 63.42
If you have another notebook battery, keep it charged but store it for only one or two days before using it as the other one charges. Don’t keep your laptop plugged and charging when the battery is already full. Doing all these will not only be extending your laptop battery life, but will also make sure that you won’t be spending us much trying to get your computer fixed, or buying new Sony laptop batteries.

What to Know Before Buying a Laptop Battery
There are many laptop batteries manufacturers, and even more retailers to buy your laptop battery from. However, your biggest concern in purchasing a laptop battery will be to choose the battery that fits your computer. For this you will need to know the make and model number of your laptop; if you don't know this offhand or don't have the necessary paperwork, check the inside of your laptop's battery compartment while the computer is off and unplugged. There you should find the model number, along with some other information. You may also find the part number of your laptop battery, located on the casing of the battery itself.

How to Choose a Laptop Battery
When buying a discount laptop battery, you will probably only have one or two choices that fit your computer. Choose the battery with the longest life available for your computer. There are several different kinds of laptop batteries; because the technologies of each are very different, a laptop must be designed specifically for the type of battery it uses. Most laptops are only designed to use one type of battery technology.
